Learn how to develop and support your voice in this exciting and informative series of three progressive workshops taught by two highly experienced vocal coaches, Brian Martin and Imogen Wolf.

Empower yourself to use your voice the way you would like to, by understanding what makes the voice ‘tick’ through fun exercises and demonstrations. The workshop includes performance tips, soloing techniques, and vocal control based on colourful songs from around the world. To start the workshops, no experience is necessary, just a willingness to sing out and enjoy yourself!
Come and spend the day with other lovers of singing in a fun, relaxed and easy atmosphere learning about the most powerful and beautiful musical instrument of all – the human voice!

When: VOICE I - Saturday 2nd June, 10am – 4pm (No pre-qualifications)
VOICE II - Sunday 3rd June, 10am – 4 pm (Voice I required)
VOICE III – Sunday 10th June, 10am – 4 pm (Voice I & 2 required)

Cost: $95 per workshop; $260 for all three workshops

Harmony Leader Training

A course on how to run a choir, including universal & learnt conducting gestures and an introduction
to the Brian Martin Model.
A great opportunity for new and experienced choir directors & music leaders to meet up, learn new
techniques, and get to know one another.

This intensive workshop provides a set of valuable tools to assist you as teachers, conductors and individuals to develop and improve your OWN harmony leader techniques. Internationally renowned vocal coach and harmony master Brian Martin will impart useful techniques for you to apply as a facilitator of vocal groups or for adaptation to other musical training, e.g. solo or instrumental musicians.

Handouts provided.
Conductor Manuals available.

Deva Premal and Miten, and Nepali flautist Manose, offer a further opportunity to experience the joy and blissful healing power of sacred song and chant in a long weekend by the beautiful Pacific Ocean.

Throughout the ages every culture, tradition and religion has one common thread: the power of song. The singing voice is our most potent healing instrument…and yet in these days of radio, television and recorded music, it lays dormant. When was the last time you really opened your voice in joy and sang from your heart to the open sky and the stars?

It’s almost like having limbs and not using them. Many people have the idea that they can’t sing – an idea usually implanted at the most sensitive time of our lives – childhood. The result is an unconscious resistance to one of our most natural resources – making music ourselves. And what more beautiful way to make music than to sing our own song?
