Kevin runs his HEARTsongs kirtan in Byron most weeks, which attracts between 40 and 100 people a week, which is truly divine. He has recorded the beautiful community choir there singing his HEARTsongs, and is launching this sublime CD on the Australian East Coast, including Byron Bay, Brisbane EARTHeart, Sydney & Melbourne and you are all most welcome to come share this nourishing nrg at this auspicious Brisbane event.

The gathering starts at 4pm on Sunday 21 March, with all those who wish to gather and connect, chat, share, have a cuppa or share snacks & light refreshments. Please feel free to bring anything you wish to share. we do ask that you aim to arrive no later than 6.15 so as to settle in and enable the spirit of the event to be smooth. Kevin and Mel will start around 6.30, by which time we should all have been able to connect and settle into the present moment and the EARTHeart space.  Please feel free to bring a chair, cushions and mattresses will be provided for those happy to sit or lie on the ground.

Discount CD’s will be available on the nite, you can hear samples of them at http://kevinjamesheartsongs.com/ or on http://www.myspace.com/kevinjamesheartsongs where from memory they all play one by one.  There is a different song on each page of the blog (golden shaded), so click on each to hear them all…. most these songs we will sing at the gathering, lyrics will be included. some songs are Sanskrit, some in English and Kevin’s originals … all divine heart/love songs of the purest form.

In Brisbane, they will be holding the circle in a specially prepared sacred area in the EARTHeart garden pagoda. If there are light showers we will be sheltered with a tarp roof.  Hopefully the weather will be fine and you will be able to enjoy the outdoor energy of the gardens. If the weather is very challenging, they will bring the gathering indoors.  As mentioned, Kevin and Mel attract a significant weekly chanting group in Byron Bay of between 50 and 100 people, and Kevin is very well known is the Bali spirit festival circles.

Please feel free to let your friends know of this event, they are most welcome, there are very few quality chanting events in Brisbane.

As mentioned, prepaid tickets give 1 free ticket… only where prebooked and prepaid.

Camp Creative is pleased to announce the inaugural Bellingen Music Festival to be held next May.

A stellar cast of musicians will feature international concert pianist David Helfgott; Mark Walton (clarinet & saxophone); Niki Vasilakis (violin); Emma Jane Murphy (cello); Annalisa Kerrigan (soprano); Anthony Garcia (guitar); William Barton (didgeridoo); Claudia Douglas (cello); Nick Parnell (percussion).

As an encouragement to youth there will also be a quintet, the Windchill Five, from the Sydney Conservatorium and the exciting Bellingen Youth Orchestra under the direction of Ann Phelan.

The Festival will run over 2 days – Saturday May 8 and Sunday May 9 at the Bellingen Memorial Hall.

Workshops will be held by some of the visiting musicians on Thursday May 6 and Friday May 7.
