The Idea of North at the Powerhouse

Saturday 27 November

Matinee 2 PM; Evening 7PM

Final Powerhouse Shows This Year

After a smattering of country concerts around your fair state, The Idea of North will return to the Powerhouse for the last time this year to present their patented vocal magic, this time with a very special guest.

Brisbane-born singer ADAM LOPEZ has gained international recognition through the Guinness World Records for singing the highest vocal note by a male singer. In 2003 Adam’s record note was a high D7 (the last D on the piano) and in 2005 he broke his own record by almost a full octave with a supersonic C#8 live on the Australian broadcast of ‘Guinness World Records’. This achievement has astounded audiences from all around the world and it comes as no surprise to hear that Adam’s vocal artistry has paved opportunities to perform backing vocals for some of the biggest names in the music industry such as Mariah Carey, Keith Urban and The Corrs.

Singing lower than TION’s bass, AND higher than their soprano, these special shows will feature Adam joining The Idea of North for a couple of numbers to present an amazing collaboration of five of the country’s most talented vocalists.
