Into Africa

Saturday 25 August 11AM – 6PM

Yeronga Park, School Road, Yeronga.

Get your funk on and immerse yourself in the earthy, laid back, groovy culture of Africa at this free, one-day celebration, which promises a veritable feast of all that is good in life.

Dance all day to an amazing line up of performers including a 200-strong ‘Into Africa Choir’ featuring H’Sao that will get you dancing in the street.

Or learn some Casablancan cooking skills at an exclusive demonstration from award winning Moroccan chef and TV regular Hassan M’Souli.

Everyone is welcome to get along for a taste of Africa – the sensual smells, the colour and chaos, the music and joyous abandonment of this party.

So drop by the communal dining lounge and festival bazaar or take part in the dancing and creative workshops held throughout the day and experience a slice of African exuberance on the suburban streets of Brisbane.
